Listed: Roadworks set to close multiple roads across mid and north Essex

  • Bocking End in Braintree will be temporarily closed on November 27 for five days.

  • Coldnailhurst Avenue in Braintree will be temporarily closed from a point approximately 25m north east of its junction with Lancaster Way for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on November 13 for 15 days.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main connection works are undertaken by Cadent.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bulford Mill Lane to its junction with Jeffreys Road a distance of approximately 170m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on November 17 for 18 days.

  • London Road in Maldon will be temporarily closed from its junction with Cut A Thwart Lane for a distance of approximately 800m in a north westerly then south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on November 13 for five days.

  • An order is in place to temporarily close that length of Birch Road, Layer-de-la-Haye in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 885m in a westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on November 13 for 124 days.
